Leading off the 2019s from bottle, the 2019 Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Latour De France Occultum Lapidem (50% Syrah, 45% Grenache, and 5% Mourvèdre) is a juicy, medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced Roussillon delivering ample blackberry and plum fruit as well as some peppery garrigue and violet notes. It always represents a terrific value and will keep for 4-6 years.

Dark plums, blackberries, roasted meat, black pepper and hints of dried herbs and black olives. Medium body with firm tannins. It remains fresh at the center with lots of character here with the syrah kicking in mid-palate with an array of wild berries and spices. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Marked by scents of crushed stone, asphalt, blueberries and black olives, the 2019 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France Occultum Lapidem is a blend of 60% Syrah, 35% Grenache and 5% Mourvèdre, all matured in concrete tanks. It's medium to full-bodied, polished, and smooth, with silky tannins—a decent amount of them—and a long finish.
