Direst and foremost, B‑21 carried the wine that my wife likes at a very competitive price. Their shipping costs were the lowest of every on line shop I checked. Shipping was very fast via FedEx from Florida to Washington state. Finally, the cost of shipping was offset by the fact that I saved money on state sales taxes. The next time we need that special wine B‑21 will be the first place we check.

When ordering I was somewhat concerned about the delivery distance to my home in SE Georgia but selected a departure date and delivery the following day. This was exactly the result and the package delivered the following morning. If I had locally ordered I don't think the delivery time would have been any better. The wine that I ordered came from Tampa Florida !! I know my perches has been made by Chateau St. Jean in Sonoma California, Why didn't they sheep it form Napa/Sonoma to Las Vegas? The driving distance would be 80% less and delivery could be done much quicker ! Please make sure my next wine perches is not made in California, storage in Tampa, sheep to Oregon and then deliver to Las Vegas !!

Everything went as expected, but I never did receive a e‑mail that my package had been delivered to the pick‑up point. The last e‑mail I received told me that the package had been shipped. After a few days, I opened the above e‑mail and checked the package tracking number and it told me that it had been delivered. Fortunately, I was taking their postal to their house and noticed a large box with my name and address on it. Rang their doorbell and discussed the situation with my neighbor. Checked the delivery company's website and saw that the package was delivered and that I signed for it (not true).

I debated a one or two star downgrade based on poor communication from B‑21 about the shipment; zero communication from the carrier about the status of the shipment; and the "surprise" unscheduled delivery. I went with a one star downgrade... In today's world of ecommerce and customer expectations, these issues are an easy fix! B‑21's prices are fair and they have a pretty good selection. Placing the order and setting up an account was easy. It took about 10 days for the order to be processed and delivered, which would be OK ‑ if B‑21 better communicated status and tracking information for the shipment. It was Day 7 before I received a little information from B‑21, and that info came because on Day 5, I requested the status of the shipment. The carrier never provided a tracking number, despite B‑21 customer service indicating that would happen. On Day 10, with no notice or window for delivery, a guy showed up in a pickup with no company markings or uniform and delivered the shipment. It was just dumb luck that I was home to accept & sign for the shipment.

I love B‑21 services, but I hate FedEx services. I first received messages that the delivery will be on Monday, instead of Sunday, then that it will on Sunday, then that it will be on Sunday between 10:15 am and 4:00 pm, then that the packages are on the vehicle, then that they allegedly attempted to deliver (2 packages at 9:53 am and another 2 at 10:08 am) but that nobody answered the door, and on and on, and on Monday at 6:00 pm, still no delivery was made, even though there was – allegedly – another delivery attempt at 2:42 pm, while no attempt was made.
