From the Urglück and the Kau parcels with 100+-year-old, ungrafted vines harvested in mid-October, the 2019 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Spätlese is excitingly pure and fresh on the crunchy nose that represents great precision and concentration. Round and juicy on the palate, this is a concentrated, intense and pretty rich yet perfectly piquant and balanced Spätlese bottled with 80 grams of residual sugar and a stimulating 8.6 grams of total acidity. 8.5% alcohol. Great grip.

Generous and spicy, but with very racy acidity and a long, energetic finish that's super crisp. So food-friendly, in spite of the obvious, natural-grape sweetness. Drink or hold.
