Another gorgeous white from this team, the 2019 Château Valandraud Blanc sports a light gold hue as well as brilliant aromatics of fresh melon, subtle pineapple, white flowers, and beautiful, clean minerality. This carries to a more medium to full-bodied white that builds gradually with time in the glass, offering bright acidity, a terrific, concentrated mid-palate, remarkable purity of fruit, and a great finish. It's a stunning Bordeaux Blanc that's up with the crème de la crème of the vintage.

The 2019 Valandraud Blanc has come together beautifully since I last tasted it and now shows all of its personality. There's wonderful exoticism running through the 2019. Pineapple, ginger, green apple, mint and sweet floral accents all meld together. As always, the Blanc is marked by a gorgeous sense of textural intensity.
