Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ravens has a deep garnet-purple color, prancing out of the glass with vivacious scents of blueberry pie, black currant cordial and fresh blackberries plus hints of cinnamon toast and clove oil. Full-bodied, the palate has an approachable structure of finely grained tannins and bold freshness supporting the tightly knit black fruits, finishing with a spicy kick. 346 cases were made.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ravens Vineyard is incredibly beautiful and vivid. Inky and heady, with striking purity of fruit, the 2018 hits all the right notes. Raspberry jam, blood orange, mint and rose petal give the 2018 a very distinct exotic feel. The aromatics alone are so enticing, but there is a lot more to the 2018. I would give the 2018 at least a few years in bottle to soften.

Wonderful aromas of blackcurrants and blackberries with blueberries and flowers. Some wet-earth and spice undertones. Full-bodied with very fine tannins and a gorgeous upside to the fine tannins that grow at the end. Persistent finish. Partially made in amphora. Better after 2025, but already very attractive to taste.
