The 2018 Nemea is an Agiorgitiko aged for 12 months in second use French oak. It comes in at 14.3% alcohol. This has good concentration and bold flavor, but it does flatten a bit too quickly with aeration. It seems on the fresher side this year with a bit less vanilla. Yet the purity doesn't seem to result in better fruit, at least not this year. Overall, the structure seems better than the fruit, but this generally works well at a pretty nice price. It has some distinction, some potential and some structure. It's a good choice for a house pour or restaurant wine. It may yet improve a bit.
