An ode to Lulu, the 99 year old matriarch of Domaine Tempier, who along with her husband Lucien Peyraud advocated the creation of the now famous wine region Bandol in the 1940s due to the successes from old vine plantings of Mourvedre there. A great memory was meeting Lulu at Tempier a decade or more ago. Bigger than life, an accomplished cook as well as winemaker she adds a beautiful energy to any room. This rose is a glorious tribute to one of the greats in wine.
