The 2018 Reserva Especial is primarily Tempranillo with dashes of Cabernet Sauvignon and Albillo from Ribera del Duero and was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and an additional six months in concrete vats. A dark garnet-red in hue. The nose offers sour cherry and ripe plum notes accompanied by herbs and undergrowth against a backdrop of cedar. The palate is dry and creamy with gravelly tannins and a velvety oak texture that delivers a subtly potent finish.
