They are excellent to do business with. Organized and easy to order online from. The only issue I find is when I search on line and generalize my search, like fortified wine it will show no results. Also I would like to be able to request a specific wine, in this case, Blandy's 10 year Malmsey madeira. I haven't found an easy way to communicate that. But other than this they have been excellent. The memories.... I am thrilled to once again offer Mon Aïeul, the new release of 2017 Pierre Usseglio's Mon Aïeul, which comes oh so close to the epic trio of 2007, 2010, and 2016. Note yields are reduced in 2017 resulting in a much smaller offering, which unfortunately does not include any magnums, and most lamentably there was no production of the famed Reserve des Deux Freres.

The classic 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape comes from tiny, tiny yields and checks in as 60% Grenache, 15% Each of Syrah and Mourvèdre, and the rest Cinsault that was 70% destemmed and brought up in a mix of used barrels. It's a beautiful, layered wine that delivers the goods, offering loads of black raspberry fruit, notes of spice, garrigue, licorice, and pepper, medium to full body, good acidity, and a great finish. Beautifully balanced, it can be drunk today with incredible pleasure or cellared for 15 years or more.
