Full and intense, with red and black berries on a well-balanced palate with supportive but non-aggressive tannins that combine with the super-clean ripe fruit to give a long finish. Super balance and quality here. Give this a few more years. Try from 2025.

The Damilano 2017 Barolo Liste is a wine of considerable power and depth, although it happily remains firmly within the parameters of elegance and finesse that only a grape as important and versatile as Nebbiolo can manage. I love that duality of brawn and grace that coexist here. The warm 2017 vintage helps to turn up the volume even higher in this expression from Liste. It aged in large oak for 24 months. 7,400 bottles were made.
