The 2016 Marsannay les Longeroies has an intensely floral bouquet that almost overwhelms the fruit underneath, perhaps just trying a little too hard to impress? The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin, good weight in the mouth and belatedly shows decent structure and grace on the finish. Enjoy this over the next 6 to 8 years.
