The 2016 Pinot Noir Lucie Dutton Ranch Widdoes Vineyard is more streamlined, with considerable elegance and purity. There’s a more Burgundian vibe here compared to the sexy Bacigalupi Vineyard, yet it’s still Russian River through and through with its black raspberries, spiced cherry, forest floor, and sappy spring flower-laced aromas and flavors. Fresh, medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and with a great finish, it has another decade of longevity.
