Silky and elegant, revealing cherry, plum, tobacco, earth and iron flavors. The vibrant structure keeps this red pulsing through the long, mineral-infused finish. Shows fine balance and complexity. Best from 2023 through 2042. 3,000 cases made, 1,250 cases imported.

Carpineto's 2015 Brunello di Montalcino rises from the glass with an intense display of orange-tinged strawberry, cedar box, a dusting of spice, animal musk, and dark earth tones. On the palate, velvety textures are contrasted by vibrant acidity, giving lift to its tart red and black berry fruit, as a host of sweet and savory spice develop, and fine tannins slowly mount. It finishes firm yet refined, with cool-toned red berry lingering over saline-minerals and a coating of dry tannins.
