The 2014 Champagne Blanc De Blanc Extra Brut was vinified in foudre and pours a bright yellow color. On the nose, it’s rounded with a floral personality, revealing aromas of lemon curd, shortbread, fresh white peach, and honeysuckle. On the palate, it opens to a spritely mousse, with a touch of white pepper spice, and a rounded and creamy mid-palate, a chalky texture, and a note of crunchy green apple skin lifting cleanly on the finish. With more tension on the palate, it should have significant longevity for this vintage. This is a classic and attractive wine to enjoy over the next 10 years. Disgorged in 2023, with 4.2 grams per liter dosage.
