Great variety and top‑quality selections of wines; it's like being a kid in a candy store. I especially like how many NZ wines B‑21 stocks. Ordering online is an easy click away; shipping is easy too. When I buy wines there, one of my options is holding them in B‑21's cold storage facility for up to 60 days, which allows me to buy and hold purchases on up and build a mixed case over time that qualifies for free shipping.

I ordered a case of various wines online, and everything went very smoothly. They had most of what that I was looking for, and also had wines that I was not planning on buying, but were priced well so they I couldn't pass then up. Shipping was fast and everything was packed well. I'll be ordering more as soon as I pick out some favorites from this sample selection. I've also visited the store in person, and they have an excellent selection of Champagne and whiskey.

Had a great experience with B‑21! To be honest I was a little concerned hearing some horror stories about people ordering Bourbon from websites. But was very happy with B‑21 from the start to the delivery. I had been trying to get some Penelope Toasted Marshmallow locally and everyone ran out but B‑21 came to the rescue. The López de Heredia new releases are always some of the anticipated of the year, and our recent offer on the 2016 Cubillo Crianza kicked off the series with a bang. Now, we're back with the equally stupendous 2013 Bosconia Reserva.

The cool vintage didn't stop the Bosconia vineyard from producing a wine of proper depth and complexity, when in fact, it only added a layer of elegance to this fan-favorite Reserva that can sometimes be missing in warmer years. Along with James Suckling's 95-point review, the 2013 notched 93+ points from Wine Advocate's Luis Gutiérrez, who lauds it as "expressive, elegant and subtle, clean and complex, with polished tannins and very good acidity."

The 2013 Viña Bosconia Reserva even in a cooler and rainier year, like 2013, has a rounder body and still 13.5% alcohol. They also insisted that "remember that we can use 15% of wine from another vintage, and perhaps we topped this one up with wine from 2015. We want consistency year after year." This matured in barrels for five years and was bottled unfiltered but fined with egg whites. It's expressive, elegant and subtle, clean and complex, with polished tannins and very good acidity (pH 3.3 and 6.7 grams of tartaric acid per liter of wine). 70,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2021.
