The first whiffs pick up pleasant but ordinary aromas of just-ripe pear; aeration makes no further impact. Palate entry is acceptably ripe but a dash too sweet; by midpalate the taste turns drier, more skin-like and a bit manufactured. Concludes elegantly and nicely pear-like. A commonplace, adequate Poire William liqueur and nothing more.
