"Balvenie 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch: Deep burnished gold in color. The nose is sweet with honey and heather, but fairly simple. The body is huge, and the slightly smoky palate suggests sherry, dark fruits -- cherries, blackberries -- along with a pleasing oakiness and a dash of leather.
