Golden color with a fine blanket of foam. Aromas of egg croissant, dried banana, and a delicate sweet spices and leafy herbs with a frothy dryish medium-to-full body and a grilled fruit and nut, radish, pepper, and mineral accented finish. A classic saison with great table appeal.

Massive off-white head, very active carbonation ... pale golden cloudy color. This is good as the beer should never pour clear. Very ripe pear, earthy cellar and a solid herbal backbone round out the nose. Big herbal phenolic action upfront, dry grain and a mild tartness. A handful of malt character comes through with a clean grainy note. Touch of fruitiness, musty chalky yeast, herbal phenols and dry grain in the finish. Incredibly smooth with a deep yet soft crispness. Need a beer to clean the palate if not cut through some of the most flavorful cuisines ... this is the beer to do it.

Farmhouse ales generally aren't very common, but if there are any at your corner store, this is the one you are likely to find. This beer is the most well-known saison in the United States, and for good reason: It has the classic cloudy appearance of an unfiltered farmhouse ale and the citrusy notes saison lovers have come to expect. The aroma is lemony and backed up by the malt. Peppery notes come through in the taste that pair wwll with the citrus and malt tones. This beer has to be one of the most refreshing brews you can buy; plus it's very drinkable, making it a great substitute for standard lawnmower beers.
