Disgorged in April 2018, Gimonnet's NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru consists of Cuis Chardonnay from vintages 2009 to 2013 that was finished with four grams per liter dosage. The nose is beautiful, bursting with scents of ripe citrus fruit, crisp yellow apple, honeycomb and fresh peach, followed by a medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural palate with ripe but racy acids, a pinpoint mousse and superb purity, concluding with a mouthwateringly and incontestably mineral finish.
