Based on the 2014 vintage, complemented by some 29% solera-aged reserve wines, the latest release of the NV Brut Royale Réserve was disgorged in July 2018 with eight grams per liter dosage. Offering up aromas of honeyed orchard fruit, dried white flowers, fresh peach and drawn butter, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly muscular and concentrated, with a textural attack, lively acids and a nicely defined finish.

An apple-accented Champagne, with enticing notes of ripe and juicy Jonagold apple and honeysuckle, weaving grilled nut, ground ginger and lemon glaze flavors on the finely detailed bead. Bright and mouthwatering finish. Disgorged November 2017. Drink now through 2022. 3,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.

A very attractive and quite flavorful style with vibrant citrus and peachy stone fruit, leading to a palate that carries gently toasted cashews and quite a vibrant, fleshy mid-palate. Drink now.

The NV Brut Royale Réserve Non-Dosé, based on 2015, is creamy, ample and inviting, with the radiance of the vintage adding weight and texture that are both quite welcome at the entry-level. Apricot, dried flowers, herbs and almond notes build in a delicious, inviting NV Champagne from Philipponnat. The 35% réserve wines add character and layers of nuance. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: March, 2019.
