Dark mahogany brown color. Dense aromas of chocolate, smoked nuts, apricot jam, and heather peat moss with a chewy, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a dried pineapple compote, orange spice cake, nut butter, and grilled romaine nuanced finish. Delicious and well composed flavors.

Great beer in a can? Crack one of these open, and you'll see for yourself. From start (frothy brown head) to finsih (smooth, with a residual sweetness), Old Chup is a beer that defies the stereotypes of aluminum-clad brews. It's malty with a smoked beechwood flavor that tapers off nicely. HInts of raisin are noticeable in the bouquet, even if it is slightly crowded by the strong malt scent and smokiness.
