Sweet pear drops, crisp green apples, custard, and warm pastry on the nose, balanced with notes of cured smoked ham and cinnamon spice. Rich and complex, with tropical pineapple, peach, and mango, backdropped with a gentle hint of white pepper and barbecued orange rind. A long and soft finish with evolved smoky aftertaste. Aged for a quarter of a century in ex-Bourbon casks.
