Polished, versatile and well-balanced. Clean, mild aromas of juniper and citrus, and a sweeter flavor than most gins, with a bracing, astringent, citrus-peel finish. The gin’s famed tea botanicals were not apparent in tasting; it had more of a pronounced grapefruit profile. The bottle is striking, with a red base and decorative glasswork.

Clear. Aromas of toasty orange bread, anise cookie, pine cone, honeycomb and faint lemon tea with a supple, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a long, zesty, cream, root and bark, celery root and peppercorn finish. Very tasty and lively; will be great in cocktails.
