At first, the scent is mild and sweet, but with time opens up to a distinct caramel aroma with a tinge of orange peel. Although fairly boozy on the palate at first sip, eventually this viscous, honey-colored spirit emerges as mellow and fruity, and faintly peated. A splash of water coaxes out more vanilla tones. Good value.

Golden amber color. Mild aromas of grainy cereal and spiced honey cake with a soft, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a pleasant melange of dried fruits, spices, and creamy nougat on the warming finish. A rock solid sipping or cocktail whisky.

Gold-amber color. Toffee, fruit, and a wisp of smoke underpin floral aromas. On the palate, flavors are nicely balanced and harmoniously interwoven. Gently sweet toffee notes up front gradually yield to drier notes on the finish, with soft, delicate fruit flavors throughout.
