An elegant, complex bouquet of white flowers, apricot, jasmine and lemon oil prefaces the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, pure and layered white wine with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a lively, ethereal, floral finish. Seamless and perfectly balanced, this blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% Grenache, vinified in stainless steel and matured in concrete tank, will age gracefully over the next 15 years. The wine's pH is 3.39.

Gorgeous and seductive, with a rich core of kumquat, melon and lemon verbena. The opulence is balanced and integrated with a fresh beam of acidity that cuts through, plus salted herb notes. Honeyed at the edges and delicious through the long, well-meshed finish. Roussanne and Clairette. Drink now through 2030. 415 cases made, 100 cases imported.

The 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Les Cailloux is delicious. It unfolds with verbena tea, honeysuckle, ripe pear and lime flesh aromatics. Kept in check by bright acidity, the elegant 2023 closes with a slice of ripe peach on the long, sapid climax.

A delicious, dense, creamy and aromatic blend of roussanne and grenache blanc. Aromas of baked pears, fresh flowers, anise, vanilla and blanched almonds on the nose. It’s medium-bodied and round with a dense midpalate and a flavorful, precise finish. Drink or hold.

The 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is mostly Roussanne but includes 75% Roussanne, 20% Clairette, and 5% Grenache Blanc. It’s a richer, concentrated white offering exotic notes of ripe orchard fruits, toasted brioche, and honeyed orange, and it opens up beautifully with time in the glass. Clearly geared for the dinner table, it's medium to full-bodied and textured on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. I like it today and would drink bottles over the coming 2-3 years, although it certainly could have an interesting evolution beyond that as well.
