The 2022 le Marigny bottling from Bernard Fouquet is a fine bottle of Vouvray Sec, though there is no designation of Sec on the label. The wine is pure, complex and vibrant on the nose, wafting from the glass in a mix of quince, apple, chalky soil tones, a touch of beeswax, spring flowers and a lovely topnote of bee pollen. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and beautifully constituted at the core, with fine soil signature, a lovely girdle of acidity and a long, complex, very elegant and impeccably balanced finish. Fine, fine juice.
