Sequitur (Latin, meaning "followed by") is a vineyard privately owned by Michael G. Etzel and Carey Critchlow; a 12-acre site directly adjacent to Beaux Frères’ Upper Terrace vineyard. Sequitur is unique in its diverse collection of 17 distinct Pinot Noir clones, and is farmed following many biodynamic principles, allowing native ground cover to flourish. The vines also grow happily alongside Carey's bee hives - colonies nourished by edge rows of flowering herbs, namesakes of the Lavender Block (planted in 2012) and Rosemary Block (planted in 2013).
