The 2020 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is dark and rich in the glass. Camphor and pine hints lift a burst of cherry and plum sauce. This is silky-smooth and elegant, with cooling minerality and crisp red fruits that cascade throughout. It finishes long and staining with a spicy twang and gently grippy tannins, punctuating the experience well. Poliziano has captured the ripeness of the vintage in a beautifully balanced manner. This is terrific.

This red offers an inviting expression of cherry, raspberry, floral, mineral and spice flavors. Pure, with a firm backbone of tannins, vibrant acidity and a lingering, fruity aftertaste. Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo and Merlot. Best from 2025 through 2040. 16,666 cases made, 2,500 cases imported.

Ripe, luminous red berries with fine spices and a hint of crushed-stone minerality. Medium to full body on the palate with fine herbs, citrus and berries all wrapped by fine, crumbled tannins. Delicious now.
