The star of the show is the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard, a rich, full-bodied, structured wine that’s going to reward bottle age. All Cabernet Sauvignon that was fermented in oak tanks and aged 22 months in 90% new French oak, it has beautiful red, blue, and black fruits, notes of tobacco leaf, chocolate, damp earth, and woodsmoke, firm, building tannins, and a great finish. Hide bottles for at least 4-5 years, and it will evolve for 20+.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Displaying a deep garnet-purple color, it needs a fair bit of swirling to unlock its beautifully pure notes of crushed black cherries and wild blueberries with hints of menthol and tilled soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is solidly structured with firm, fine-grained tannins, supporting the intense earth and black fruit layers, finishing long and energetic. 241 cases were made.
