The Kris 2019 Pinot Grigio (packaged in its usual screw cap bottle) shows a textbook interpretation of this versatile grape. The bouquet reveals pretty tones of citrus, honeydew melon, apple, crushed stone and freshly cut grass. Throughout it all, the wine shows a heightened level of sharpness and focus that can only come from the cooler climates of Northern Italy. This easy wine would pair with a classic insalata di mare served by the beach or the pool.

The rather shy nose evokes spring wildflower and white stone fruit. On the crisp palate, vibrant acidity accompanies suggestions of green apple and pear before a citrusy close.
