I like the cherry, blackberry and fresh-herb character to this with white pepper. Medium to full body and very fine tannins. Racy and long. Such balance. No barrels here. Drink now.

The 2019 Malbec Gran Reserva Serie Riberas comes from Marchigüe and was aged for 10 months in French barrels and foudres. Purple in the glass. The nose evokes herbs and bay leaf plus expressive violet and white pepper notes. Juicy on the palate with active, angular tannins tempered by the vibrant freshness. At the back of the mouth the oak mingles nicely with the fruity flavors.
