The 2019 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore excites the senses with a spicy and perfumed display, showing yellow florals, laced with white pepper evolving further with aromas of musky dried peaches and apricot. It’s silky and cool-toned on the palate with a pure display of white orchard fruits, hints of mint and almond. This closes with a mouthwatering mix of salty minerals and a spritz of lemon. If this is any indication of how well Andrea Felici did in 2019, then I can’t wait to see what their Riserva will bring to the table.
