The 2018 Kallisto is an 80/20 blend of Assyrtiko and Robola, unoaked and coming in at 13% alcohol. It has a pH of 3.11. Solid in the mid-palate, this coats the palate well with rich and flavorful fruit, but it always seems fresh. Showing off a long finish, it's hard to get this out of your mouth—and it tastes great, so that's a good thing. Beautifully done, this is another exceptional Kallisto, one of my favorite brands from Mercouri. It's a nice value too. There were 8,000 bottles produced.
