A more refined carmenere with the normal aromas and flavors of dried herbs and earth, fresh and dried fruit. Medium-to full-bodied, tight and focused. Long, flavorful finish. Yet subtle. Drink now.

Peumo regards this Carménère, made with 5% de Cabernet, as an experiment: violet red, it offers aromas of both fresh and stewed cherry, plum and raspberries along with hints of pepper. Fleshy with a terse texture, it contains fresh, juicy tannins and a lengthy, well-sustained flavor.
