Wafting from the glass with aromas of yellow orchard fruit, peach, white flowers and honeycomb, the 2018 Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles is medium to full-bodied, textural and enveloping, with a deep and voluminous core of fruit, ripe but racy acids and a long, mineral finish.

The 2018 Chablis Grenouilles Grand Cru has a complex nose with scents of crushed stone, Chinese white tea and light pressed white flower aromas. The palate is well balanced with a viscous opening, one of the most powerful and intense 2018 Chablis that I have tasted, delivering layers of lightly honeyed fruit laced with spice toward the finish. What it lacks in nervosité, it compensates with sheer hubris!
