An intense, superfresh nose unites lemon balm, elderflower and ripe Amlafi lemon notions. The palate has the same aromatic intensity and backs all of this with a creamy texture. This is lovely now, bright and aromatic, but it will keep evolving. Drink by 2030.

From 56- to 57-year-old vines at nearly 500 meters in altitude and picked on September 27, Kathi Tinnacher's 2018 Gelber Muskateller Ried Gamitz –1STK– offers an intensely aromatic yet pure, tight and mineral bouquet. Silky and finessed on the palate, this is an intense and lovely phenolic Muscat with vivacious acidity interweaving the silky texture of this remarkably expressive wine that spent 14 months on the lees. The wine has enormous grip, aromas and character. Attention, Muscat geeks, this is a long-distance runner for sure. Tasted in August 2020.
