Racy and delicious, this refreshing white offers aromas of tropical fruit, spring wild flower and a whiff of dried botanical herb. On the savory palate, vibrant acidity brightens yellow apple, Meyer lemon and tangy saline before closing on a white-almond note.

Vivid straw-yellow. Delicious aromas of herbs, lime, almond kernel and jasmine. Bright, dense and juicy, with a glyceral but vibrant mouthfeel and very pure flavors of green apple, pear and white peach. Finishes long and mineral. This is a knockout entry-level Soave that boasts sneaky concentration and extreme purity of fruit. Absolutely lovely and one of the better Soaves at this price point that I have memory of in quite some time.

Gini’s Soave Classico is a fantastic value, combining the concentration given by old vines (averaging 70 years of age) with a buoyant, floral freshness from the moderate 2018 growing season. A blend of fruit from five crus, each vinified separately in stainless-steel vats, the wine offers flavors of pear, yellow apple and green almond propelled by mouthwatering acidity that invites another sip, and then another glass.

An attractive white with abundant aromas of cooked apples and pears, as well as lemons. Medium to full body. Lots of flavor. Dried fruit at the end. Drink now.
