The pretty affordable 2018 Max Reserva Chardonnay from Aconcagua has moderate alcohol and remarkable acidity and freshness. The full clusters were pressed and the juice let to settle, and then it fermented in French oak barrels (20% new), where the wine matured for ten months. All of these wines have a very clean and precise profile, very integrated oak, moderate alcohol and aromas and flavors in the citrus range, with floral undertones. The palate is medium-bodied with clarity and a long, tasty, almost salty finish. 111,600 bottles produced. It was bottled between April and June 2019 according to the projected sales.

A pretty and nicely ripe chardonnay that shows cooked apples, peach pit and dried nutmeg. Full-bodied and round on the palate with fleshy stone fruit and clove and spice undertones throughout. Drink now.
