The 2018 Marsannay Rouge, which includes around 25% whole bunch, has a backward dark berry and briar bouquet with fine definition. It just requires a little more intensity and vigor. The medium-bodied palate offers mulberry and red plum notes, moderate acidity and meat juices infusing the red fruit on the ample finish. A little simple, perhaps, but it give much pleasure over the next five or six years.
