Very profound array of richly concentrated dark cherries, plums and woody spices on the nose. The palate has a superb array of such deeply ripe, concentrated darker berries. The tannins are suavely delivered, too. A blend of 90% old-vine grenache (50-90 years) and other co-planted varieties. Drink or hold.

Deeper and richer, the 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Vieilles Vignes Cuvée Antique offers more dark berry and wild strawberry fruits as well as plenty of violets, incense, and pepper. This medium to full-bodied effort has beautiful purity of fruit, an elegant, silky texture, and loads of charm. Drink it on release and over the coming 4-6 years. The blend is 90% Grenache and the rest Syrah, Clairette, and Mourvèdre,
