The 2018 Richebourg Grand Cru has a very pure and refined bouquet that perhaps comes across more like a Romanée-Saint-Vivant in style. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, finely tuned acidity with quite high-toned red cherry fruit laced with kirsch and iodine. It does not quite match the superlative 2016 or 2017, but it remains a fine Richebourg.
