The 2018 Dogliani Vigne in Pianezzo is delicate, floral and silky, with lovely red berry, spice and rose petal notes that lift from the glass. Effortless and gracious, the 2018 is absolutely delicious; the purity of the fruit is simply remarkable. What a pretty wine this is.

The Boschis Francesco 2018 Dogliani Pianezzo opens to immediate Dolcetto purity and intensity. Rich fruit, cassis, blueberry and almond give the wine a very bright and primary character. It's perfect for a pairing with Italian affettati misti and pizza bianca, or cold cuts and freshly baked flatbread. Aged only in stainless steel, this inviting wine will open your appetite to a bigger meal later in the evening. Some 6,822 bottles were made.

Boysenberry and pomegranate flavors are up front, gaining earth and tomato leaf accents as this firms on the finish. Drink now through 2023. 1,250 cases made, 300 cases imported.
