This offers sanguine-infused dark plum and blackberry flavors that are broad and filled with intense Asian spice notes. Loamy accents emerge on the finish, along with dark chocolate and smoky hints. Drink now through 2022. 50,000 cases made, 25,000 cases imported.

A steaky merlot, this wine has gentle, dark-roast-coffee tannins and soft, minty notes to its cherry-scented fruit.

The 2017 Reserva Merlot from Maipo has some 13% Carmenere in the blend. It fermented with selected yeasts and aged in barrel for ten months. It has a creamy personality, with some balsamic aromas, wild berries and a medium-bodied palate with a soft texture and tender mouthfeel with polished tannins. 400,000 bottles produced. It was bottled between August and September 2017.
