The 2017 Rosso di Montalcino is dark, rich and wonderfully supple. A Rosso of real depth and texture, the 2017 offers terrific depth and tons of resonance. This is an especially big, rich Rosso, and yet everything works together so well. The 2017 has more than enough depth to stand up to anything. The 2017 finishes with real substance and tons of class.

Forest-berry, rose-petal and wild herb aromas delicately shape the nose. On the bright polished palate, sleek tannins seamlessly support juicy Marasca cherry, raspberry compote and star anise. Thanks to the high-altitude vineyards, this has energizing freshness for the hot vintage.

Bright raspberry fruit profile with hints of floral characters and an enticing saline minerality. A very good example of the vintage.
