Redcurrants, red berries and plenty of spices. Full body, round tannins, a generous mid-palate and a fruity finish. A blend of malbec, bonarda and tempranillo. Drink now.

Compared to the 2016, the 2017 Red Blend is a slightly different blend of 60% Malbec with 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Bonarda. It has grapes from different zones of Mendoza. It fermented mostly in stainless steel with shorter macerations. Twenty percent of the volume was kept with inner staves for six months. It feels very much like a cool-climate Cabernet, with lots of spicy and herbal aromas, serious and restrained. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and moderate acidity. It could be phenomenal with a little more freshness. Some 450,000 bottles were produced.
