Mouthwatering acidity and light, taut tannins provide fine cut for the expressive flavors of black raspberry preserves, licorice snap, fragrant dried herb and ground spice. Very appealing, a well-balanced and accessible, medium-bodied red. Drink now through 2023. 25,000 cases made, 2,500 cases imported.

Here's a solid entry-level red offered at an unbeatable low price. The mid-weight 2016 Sicilia Nero d'Avola shows a steady and clean delivery of red cherry and berry aromas with light spice, cola and green olive. There is a point of sour fruit on the finish that is characteristic of Nero d'Avola. Some 250,000 bottles were made.
