This is a blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 15% Syrah and a drop of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot that opens with smoky aromas and grilled bell pepper over a core of dense red and black fruit. It's bold, but lively acidity adds elegance. Flavors of herbs, green bell pepper, peppercorn and chocolate are supported by fine-grained tannins. Drink now–2029.

The 2016 Estate Reserve has an attractive nose of blackberry, raspberry, cassis and subtle mint aromas, focused and delineated and the oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and predominantly red fruit laced with black pepper and clove. Quite detailed on the finish. Drink over the next decade.

Ripe blackberries and blueberry pie with hints of black olives, licorice and wet soil. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and a round mouth-feel. Fruity and flavorful. A blend of 43% cabernet sauvignon, 21% merlot, 15% syrah, 11% petit verdot and 10% cabernet franc. Sustainable. Drink now.
