Powerful, citric and slightly smoky, yet quite austere with a firm core and lots of citrusy freshness. Several decades of ageing potential.

Smoky black tea and stony quarry dust seem to rise from the glass – a not unusual impression from Kellerberg. Zesty lime and orange add to the wine’s aromatic penetration and offer a corresponding citric juiciness on the palate. A meld of almond and peach kernel bittersweetly enhances the wine’s formidably sustained, refreshingly bright finish, which incorporates mouthwatering salinity and a crystalline sense of stony impingement.
