An unusual red blend, the 2016 Pavina Tempranillo Pinot Noir has very good freshness, reflecting the conditions of the year, and the two varieties, though impossible to identify, seem to marry well together. It has a clean, floral nose and a soft texture; it's clean, dry, pleasant and easy to drink. It matured in French oak barrels for seven to nine months, and the oak is nicely integrated and folded into the fruit. 58,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2017.
