Some currants and cherries on the nose with hints of white pepper. Medium body, sticky tannins and a medium, fresh finish. From 100% garnacha. Drink now.

The 2015 Garnacha, which comes in the bright, modern orange/red/copper label is their largest cuvée of 40,000 cases and, again, a naked expression of its blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Tempranillo. This sees no oak, and is all the better for it. Plenty of black cherries, black raspberries, dusty/loamy soil notes, a touch of underbrush, pepper and spice are all present in this ripe, medium-bodied, luscious and delicious wine that sells for an outrageously low price. Drink it over the next year.
